We specialise in medicine distribution, pharmaceutical care and pharmacy based primary care services. We work in partnership with the NHS, healthcare commissioners and providers as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers to:

• Improve access to professional healthcare advice and support, particularly in deprived areas. Help patients understand and manage their medication – in particular those with multiple long-term conditions in order to avoid complications and hospital admissions
• Advise people on how they can live longer and healthier lives through lifestyle changes and provide the support they need to make those changes e.g. smoking cessation
• Improve awareness of – and early screening for – potential life-changing, long-term conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity etc.

We support over 4,000 community pharmacies, including direct management of 484 rowlands branches; we deliver over 250 million packs of medicines each year through 13 depots situated across the UK. We employ over 5,500 people who provide support to the 25 million patients who visit our owned and supported pharmacies each year.
